Volleyball sets focus for upcoming matches

BVU now faces pivotal match with Loras

squad rebounded on Tuesday with a big 3-0 homecoming win over Wartburg (26-24, 25-16, 25-22). The Buena Vista University (BVU) football team used a solid day from running back sophomore Cory Donscheski, who gained 160 yards and had one touchdown, to get its first conference road win since 2006 on Saturday, as they defeated the University of Dubuque 20-3. (0) comments

The Buena Vista University (BVU) men's golf team wrapped up their season this past weekend at the Twin Cities Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus. Round one opened on Saturday and senior Josh Reed shot a three-over 74, followed by first-year Jaron Smool with a 76 and not far behind was first-year Mitch Brunick with 80. (0) comments

The Women's soccer team hosted Simpson College on Saturday, September 27. The Beaverīs tried to hold tough against the Storm, but their efforts came up short with a 7-0 loss for the Iowa Conference opener. The Storm came out on top right away kicking in two goals in the first five minutes of the game. (0) comments

The men's soccer team took on the Simpson Storm Saturday on the Beavers' field to open up the Iowa Conference game. The Beavers struggled by only getting three total shots on the afternoon to come up with a 3-0 loss. The Storm came out firing and compiled 11 first-half shots, and then at the 24 minute mark they scored leaving the first half 1-0 to the Storm. (0) comments

Saturday, Sept. 27, the Buena Vista University (BVU) girl's tennis team took on Simpson College, nearly picking up their second win of the season with a 5-4 loss. The tennis girls played hard, taking three wins away from their single matches. Junior Katie Arentson took a loss away from court with a 6-1, 6-2 match. (0) comments
