2008 Woodie Awards
The BVU baseball team saw its season come to an end this past weekend as Loras took two of three games in a pivotal weekend series for the Beavers. Loras held BVU to five hits in game one on Saturday as they cruised to an easy 4-0 victory. Junior Brandon Pietrzyk went the distance on the mound, allowing 10 runs on four hits and striking out two. BVU's men's golf team took seventh as a team during the 2008 Iowa Conference Men's Golf Championship on Saturday, May 3 in Decorah. Two BVU golfers finished in the top five individually following the third and final round. Junior Josh Reed finished in second place with a final round of 77 (+15 overall). (0) comments
This past weekend, the BVU track team competed in their last track meet of the regular season before this weekend's Iowa Conference Championships. They competed at the Central College Open in Pella, Iowa, and also sent a couple representatives to the IIAC Multi-Championships in Waverly, Iowa. (0) comments
