There are a few people in the world that are slowly killing us all. Oprah Winfrey is one of those people. Not only does she have her highly successful talk show, she also has a magazine, a XM satellite radio show, her own production company, and Chicago all in the palm of her hand. (5) comments
Last month brought the much anticipated end to the writer's strike. It won't be long until our favorite shows are back up and running at full, salaciously entertaining, speed. But is this really a good thing for all of us? I realize that I am a bit (okay, a lot) older than the average college student. (0) comments
BVU is a great place to be. So, why in a recent poll of the best liberal arts schools in the United States for 2008 was BVU not on the list while Coe College and Cornell College are? Is it possible that maybe they have more publicity than BVU does or is it because they simply are better? Now, I believe BVU is far superior to Coe or Cornell College but maybe we don't appear to be all that great to the public eye. (1) comment
While sitting at my desk trying to think of a topic to tackle this week I realized an important issue was enveloping me. I was surrounded by newspapers, grocery bags, pop cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles - 40 pop cans, 12 plastic bottles and 8 glass bottles, to be exact. (1) comment
