There are some college students who do not really get involved in campus activities, clubs, or organizations.

There are students who join a few organizations and possibly become leaders within them.

Morgan Smith, a junior media studies major, is not one of those students, she is more.

Beyond her academics, she is in her second year of being a part of Residence Life. She was a Resident Advisor in Swope Hall last year, is this year, and will be next year.

Also, this is her third year of being part of the theater productions and is the president of APO, which is the theatre honorary fraternity on campus.

Smith recently had a part in the spring musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

She also sings and plays her guitar in the Praise Band at each chapel service on Thursday mornings.

This is Smith's second year singing and first year playing her guitar for the services.

She has also been giving campus tours to prospective students for three years as part of the organization Espirit de Corps.

"It's been a lot of fun getting to meet a lot of new faces. And it's really fun when they come back in the fall and recognize you from their tour," Smith said.

She has been a member of the choir for three years and band for two years.

She is excited to go to Italy with the choir and for the band concert this Sunday, May 10.

She is a part of the University Cable Network and the Event Tech Services.

"I started working with the UCN as a volunteer freshman year and loved it so much I made the TV studio my semi-permanent address," Smith said.

She started out with the Event Tech Services as just a work study employer.

"Event Tech Services is by far the best work-study job on campus!" Smith said.
